Evans announced that DANIEL IGNACIO MEJIA-CASTILLO ("MEJIA"), age 32, a native of Honduras, pleaded guilty on January 7, 2025, before U.S. District Judge Nannette Jolivette Brown to being an illegal alien in possession of a firearm, in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Sections 922(g)(5)(A) and 924(a)(8).
