Evans announced that on January 16, 2025, SONIA MILLER ("MILLER"), age 54, a resident of New Orleans, pled guilty to theft of U.S. mail matter by a postal employee, in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 1709(a). New Orleans Man Sentenced For Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material 01/30/2025 07:00 AM EST NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA – U.S. Attorney Duane A. Evans announced today that JOY JOSEPH BANERJEE ("BANERJEE"), age 57, of New Orleans, was sentenced on January 28, 2025, for possession of prepubescent child pornography, in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 2252(a)(4)(b), to sixty (60) months imprisonment.
