Highlights are below. 70.1 percent of workers were full time, year round in 2023 01/30/2025 A total of 171.9 million people age 16 years and over worked in the United States at some point during 2023, up by 2.2 million from 2022. Among those who worked in 2023, the proportion of workers who worked full time, year round was 70.1 percent, down by 0.9 percentage point from 2022. Men were more likely to work full time, year round than women (75.0 percent versus 64.7 percent). HTML
