FY 2025 Notice of Funding Opportunity Announcement NOW OPEN: OVW Fiscal Year 2025 Training and Services to End Abuse in Later Life Program Funding Opportunity The Training and Services to End Abuse in Later Life Program (Abuse in Later Life Program) supports a comprehensive approach to addressing abuse in later life, including domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, neglect, abandonment, economic abuse, or willful harm committed against victims who are 50 years of age or older (hereinafter "older victims"). Eligible applicants include states and territories; units of local government; Tribal governments or Tribal organizations; population-specific organizations; victim service providers; and state, Tribal, or territorial domestic violence or sexual assault coalitions; and community-based organizations, including culturally specific, population-specific, and faith-based organizations. Expected Award Period: 48 months for new awardees, 36 months for continuation awardees Expected Award Amounts: $450,000 to $750,000 Important Dates and Information  Pre-application information session: January 14, 2025. Attendees must email OVW.Elder@usdoj.gov by January 9 to register. Optional letter of intent: February 6, 2025 Application deadline for Grants.gov: March 4, 2025 – 11:59 p.m. ET Application deadline for JustGrants: March 6, 2025 – 8:59 p.m. ET To submit an application, all applicants must register online with the System for Award Management (SAM) and with Grants.gov. To ensure sufficient time to complete the registration process, applicants should register online with SAM and with Grants.gov immediately, and by February 11, 2025. Peer reviewers consist of active or recently retired practitioners with on-the-ground experience responding to the crimes of sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking. We prioritize recruiting peer reviewers from diverse communities and geographical regions. Prior experience as a peer reviewer is not required and you cannot peer review for grants you are currently applying for.
