The latest Employment Cost Index news release has been posted on the BLS website at https://www.bls.gov/news.release/pdf/eci.pdf and also archived at https://www.bls.gov/news.release/archives/eci_01312025.pdf. Highlights are below. Compensation costs up 0.9% Sep 2024 to Dec 2024 and up 3.8% over the year ending Dec 2024 01/31/2025 Compensation costs increased 0.9 percent for civilian workers, seasonally adjusted, from September 2024 to December 2024. Over the year, total compensation rose 3.8 percent, wages and salaries rose 3.8 percent, and benefit costs rose 3.6 percent. HTML | PDF | RSS | Charts
