Derricka Burton, 20, of Washington, D.C., was sentenced today to six years in prison for a Christmas Day robbery, announced U.S. Attorney Matthew M. Graves and Chief Pamela A. Smith of the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD).

Troy Weeks, 38, of Greenville, New York, was sentenced to 21 months in prison, 36 months of supervised release, and ordered to pay $2,000 in restitution by U.S. District Judge Rudolph Contreras.

David Zanders, 22, of Washington D.C., pleaded guilty today in U.S. District Court in connection with a May 2022 kidnapping and robbery outside a nightclub in Northwest and the carjacking of another set of victims later that day, announced U.S. Attorney Matthew Graves, FBI Acting Special Agent in Charge David Geist of the Washington Field Office's Criminal and Cyber Division, and Chief Pamela A. Smith, of the Metropolitan Police Department.
