Following each of their juries being unable to come to an agreement, the brothers were convicted in a second trial and sentenced to life in prison without parole. The case is back in the news and capturing the attention of a new audience on social media. And now, the outgoing Los Angeles County D.A. has recommended the brothers be resentenced, which – if a judge agrees – would immediately make them eligible for parole. 42-year-old South Carolina woman still missing 6 months after she was seen getting into an unknown vehicle outside her home

Lashaunda Spurlock was last seen by her mother, leaving their Chesterfield County, South Carolina, home on April 30, 2024, between 5:00 and 6:00 p.m. The Chesterfield County Sheriff's Office is investigating.

24-year-old Seattle woman Barbara McClure still missing four decades later

Barbara McClure headed home on foot from the Fandango Disco in Seattle, on November 2, 1978. Friends who were with her that night said she refused a ride home. Her driver's license was found more than a week later near the intersection of I-5 and I-405.
