McAlester Resident Sentenced For Sexual Exploitation Of A Child 10/10/2024 08:00 AM EDT MUSKOGEE, OKLAHOMA – The United States Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma announced that Amanda Lynn Howerton, age 41, of McAlester, Oklahoma, was sentenced to 210 months in prison for one count of Sexual Exploitation of a Child.On February 5, 2024, Howerton pleaded guilty to the charge.  According to investigators, on January 22, 2023, Howerton produced a visual depiction of the sexual abuse of a child, then sold that image on the internet.
