Federal Inmate and Maryland Woman Indicted on Drug Charges 09/05/2024 08:00 AM EDT Olona Roba, a federal inmate at United States Penitentiary Hazelton, and Sakile G. Fiddermon, of Fort Washington, Maryland, were indicted on heroin, fentanyl, and methamphetamine charges. Roba, 26, and Fiddermon, 23, were each charged with conspiring to smuggle heroin, fentanyl, methamphetamine, and suboxone into the penitentiary. Former International Cyclist Sentenced To Seven Years In Federal Prison For International Gun Smuggling 09/04/2024 08:00 AM EDT Orlando, Florida – U.S. District Judge Carlos Mendoza today sentenced Varun Maharajh (32, Trinidad and Tobago) to seven years in federal prison for smuggling firearms overseas and possessing firearms as an unlawful alien. The court also ordered Maharajh to forfeit the firearms and ammunition seized in the case.
