A Texas woman pleaded guilty today to felony and misdemeanor charges related to her conduct during the Jan. 6, 2021, breach of the U.S. Capitol. Her actions and the actions of others disrupted a joint session of the U.S. Congress convened to ascertain and count the electoral votes related to the 2020 presidential election.

Today, U.S. District Judge Sara E. Hill sentenced Victor Manuel Vallejo-Rivera, 34, for Assault with a Dangerous Weapon with Intent to do Bodily Harm in Indian Country. Judge Hill ordered Vallejo-Rivera to 84 months imprisonment, followed by three years of supervised release.
