General Officer Announcements

Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III announced today that the president has made the following nominations:

Army Brig. Gen. John M. Cushing for appointment to the grade of major general. Cushing is currently serving as the commanding general, Combat Capabilities Development Command, U.S. Army Futures Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland.

Army Col. Jonathan C. Taylor for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. Taylor is currently serving as the deputy commander (operations), U.S. Army Medical Command, Joint Base San Antonio, Texas.
