U.S. Attorney Trini E. Ross announced today that Levester Rose, 46, of Niagara Falls, NY, was arrested and charged by criminal complaint with possession with intent to distribute 40 grams or more of fentanyl, which carries a minimum penalty of five years in prison and a maximum of 40 years.

Albert Rueben Gaines, 31, of Casper, Wyoming, was sentenced to 200 months' imprisonment for felon in possession of a firearm, possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, use of a firearm during and in relation to a drug trafficking crime, and possession of a machinegun.

Jesus Alejandro Ibarra-Morales, 30, a Mexican national, was sentenced today to four years and four months in prison for possession with intent to distribute cocaine.

Seattle – The final defendant of 41 arrested in an extensive drug trafficking investigation, pleaded guilty today in U.S. District Court in Seattle to possession of fentanyl with intent to distribute and unlawfully possessing a firearm, announced U.S. Attorney Tessa M. Gorman.

Jason Trimmer, 47, of Lander, Wyoming, was arraigned on August 1, for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and fentanyl, possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime, and unlawful user of a controlled substance in possession of a firearm.

Tampa, Florida – U.S. District Judge Thomas P. Barber has sentenced Andre Pierrie (26, Tampa) to 8 years and 10 months in federal prison for being a felon in possession of a firearm, possession with the intent to distribute methamphetamine, and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime. The court also ordered Pierrie to forfeit a Smith and Wesson Air Rite. 38 special revolver that was seized as part of this case. Pierrie entered a guilty plea on February 29, 2024.

U.S. Attorney Trini E. Ross announced today that a federal grand jury has returned a three-count indictment charging Robert L. Robinson with possession with intent to distribute cocaine,  possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession of firearms in furtherance of drug trafficking, and being a felon in possession of firearms. The charges carry a maximum penalty of life in prison.
