Employment in State College, Pennsylvania, metro area up 11.5 percent for year ended in May 2024 07/05/2024 From May 2023 to May 2024, nonfarm payroll employment increased over the year in 44 metropolitan areas, decreased in 1 area, and was essentially unchanged in 344 areas. The largest percentage increase occurred in State College, Pennsylvania (+11.5 percent). The lone over-the-year decrease was in Kahului-Wailuku-Lahaina, Hawaii, at 6.8 percent. HTML
