OVW FY 2024 Financial Assistance Grants for Victims Program Solicitation Now Open

FY 2024 Solicitation Announcement NOW OPEN: OVW's Fiscal Year 2024 Financial Assistance Grants for Victims of Sexual Assault, Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, and Stalking Program Solicitation The Financial Assistance Grants for Victims of Sexual Assault, Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, and Stalking Program (FAV Program) supports victim service providers, Tribal governments, and Tribal organizations to provide flexible financial assistance to survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking, alongside other victim services. Flexible financial assistance is intended to support survivors in achieving safety, stability, and healing by paying for necessities that are not easily met by traditional service providers and with the flexibility to meet self-identified needs quickly. Eligible applicants are limited to victim service providers (including culturally specific and population-specific organizations), Tribal governments, and Tribal organizations. All applicants must have a documented history of providing flexible financial assistance to survivors of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, or stalking. Important Dates and Information  Application deadline for Grants.gov: August 15, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. ET Application deadline for JustGrants: August 20, 2024 – 8:59 p.m. ET Non-binding, optional Letter of Intent: July 30, 2024  Pre-application call: July 22, 2024 – 1 p.m. ET To submit an application, all applicants must register online with the System for Award Management (SAM) and with Grants.gov. To ensure sufficient time to complete the registration process, applicants should register online with SAM and with Grants.gov immediately, and by July 23, 2024. OVW is looking for peer reviewers who can objectively review, evaluate, and score applications for our grant programs. Peer reviewers consist of active or recently retired practitioners with on-the-ground experience responding to the crimes of sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking. We prioritize recruiting peer reviewers from diverse communities and geographical regions. Prior experience as a peer reviewer is not required and you cannot peer review for grants you are currently applying for.
