Seattle – A 33-year-old Auburn, Washington, man was arrested last night on a federal criminal complaint charging firearms and drug distribution crimes, announced U.S. Attorney Tessa M. Gorman.

NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA – CHRIS ROBERTSON, Jr. ("ROBERTSON"), age 25, of New Orleans, was sentenced on June 4, 2024 by Chief U.S. District Judge Nanette Jolivette Brown to 41 months in prison followed by 3 years of supervised release, along with a $100 mandatory special assessment fee, after previously pleading guilty to being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition, in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Sections 922(g)(1) and 924(a)(8).

Baltimore, Maryland – U.S. Department of Energy employee Lisa Phillips, of Owings Mills, Maryland, has agreed to pay the United States $96,757.95 to resolve allegations that she violated the federal False Claims Act by submitting false claims to the U.S. Small Business Administration ("SBA") to obtain an Economic Injury Disaster Loan ("EIDL") and EIDL advance during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
