Export air passenger fares fell 2.5 percent for the year ended in May 2024

Export air passenger fares fell 2.5 percent for the year ended in May 2024, due in part to an 11.6-percent decrease in Latin American/Caribbean and a 6.1-percent decrease in Asian fares. Import air passenger fares also fell, decreasing at a rate of 1.6 percent over the past 12 months.
