Pat Ryder provided the following readout: Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy today in Singapore on the margins of the Shangri-La Dialogue to reiterate unwavering U.S. support for Ukraine in the face of Russian aggression. Secretary Austin provided an update on U.S. security assistance to meet Ukraine's capability needs and reaffirmed the U.S. commitment to maintaining the strong support of a coalition of over fifty countries to help Ukraine defend its freedom. The two leaders pledged to further strengthen the strategic defense partnership between the United States and Ukraine.
