On Tuesday, FBI Director Christopher Wray warned that the threat of a terror attack aimed at Americans had been raised to a "whole other level" amid the ongoing Hamas-Israel conflict. "The reality is that the terrorism threat has been elevated throughout 2023, but the ongoing war in the Middle East has raised the threat of an attack against Americans in the United States to a whole other level," Wray told lawmakers. Wray went on to say that the Hamas attacks will likely inspire other attacks like we hadn't seen since ISIS. He then added, "In just the past few weeks, multiple foreign terrorist organizations have called for attacks against Americans and the West." Here's what else he said he was concerned about. The FBI stated in a testimony on October 13, 2022, that they were utilizing geo-tracking data to locate Trump supporters who had congregated close to the US Capitol on January 6, 2021. The Electronic Freedom Foundation (EFF) released a shocking report that exposed the "vast, secretive" collaboration between private enterprises and the federal government to monitor and trace the whereabouts of millions of Americans. It was claimed that the FBI used this information to track out patriotic demonstrators who visited Washington, DC, on January 6, 2021. As of now, the government says all of the grounds were "off limits." As far as we are aware, there were no signs indicating this region was off-limits, such as fences, flags, or markers.
Trump supporters who did not use violence nor stepped foot inside any government buildings while gathering outside the US Capitol on January 6 are now being detained by the Biden DOJ. (read more) |

It may not be a good idea to invest substantially in tech stocks right now, especially ones with speculative growth potential, as the whole market is going through a correction due to uncertainty around interest rates. However, there are still tech stocks to be cautious of. It will be challenging for these stocks, which are valued more on their prospective growth than their current performance, to do well, given the Federal Reserve's ongoing statements that they will maintain high-interest rates until the current inflation problem is forgotten. That being said, even though you might not want to purchase now, you should definitely keep an eye on the leading speculative growth tech companies. Numerous names are promising and have the potential to become industry leaders in a variety of rapidly expanding fields, including AI, electric vehicles, and even flying cars. For those who invest at a fair price and get in early, each one has the potential to be a huge winner at the appropriate price. Here are seven tech stocks to keep an eye on. (read more) |

A nurse in California is recovering after a freak accident left her trapped between an MRI machine and a hospital bed. The nurse, Ainah Cervantes, was said to have suffered "crushing injuries" that required surgery. Cervantes was tending to a patient on a hospital bed near the MRI machine at the time of the accident. The machine's magnetic force pulled the hospital bed toward the machine. The patient fell off the bed and was uninjured, but Cervantes became trapped between the bed and the large machine. Cervantes suffered extensive injuries, including a severe laceration. Doctors said they had to remove two of the machine's screws from Cervantes' body after the ordeal. Here's why health officials are saying the hospital where the accident occurred is to blame for the situation. (read more) |

Former Georgia professor Richard Sigman has been sentenced to life in prison following the fatal shooting of 18-year-old college student, Anna Jones. Jone was a student at the University of West Georgia, where Sigman taught at the time of her murder. "Words cannot explain how much pain we feel. He took her hopes of college life and becoming an adult. He took her hopes of becoming a nurse and helping people and serving this community. He took her hope of becoming a wife and a mother. He took our hopes for what we knew Anna would become, and what she would accomplish," wrote Carl Jones, the victim's father, in a letter that he read to the judge.
