The latest U.S. Import and Export Price Indexes news release has been posted on the BLS website at https://www.bls.gov/news.release/pdf/ximpim.pdf and also archived at https://www.bls.gov/news.release/archives/ximpim_10132023.pdf. Highlights are below. U.S. import prices rise 0.1% in September on higher fuel prices; export prices up 0.7% 10/13/2023 U.S. import prices increased 0.1 percent in September following a 0.6-percent advance in August. Prices for U.S. exports rose 0.7 percent in September, after increasing 1.1 percent the previous month. Over the past year, import prices dropped 1.7 percent and export prices fell 4.1 percent.
