U.S. Attorney Trini E. Ross announced today that Jeffrey Paden, 57, of Frewsburg, NY, was arrested and charged by criminal complaint with receipt and possession of child pornography, which carry a mandatory minimum penalty of 15 years in prison, and a maximum of 40 years.

U.S. Attorney Trini E. Ross announced today that Raymond Brock, 30, of Rochester, NY, who was convicted of assaulting a federal officer, was sentenced to serve 12 months in prison by U.S. Magistrate Judge Marian W. Payson.

U.S. Attorney Trini E. Ross announced today that Vikrant Chauhan, 35, a citizen of India living in Chicago, Illinois, pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Lawrence J. Vilardo to conspiracy to commit marriage fraud. The charge carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

U.S. Attorney Trini E. Ross announced today that Daniel Rodriguez, 40, of North Tonawanda, NY, pleaded guilty before Chief U.S. District Judge Elizabeth A. Wolford to possession with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of cocaine and being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition. The charges carry a mandatory minimum penalty of 10 years in prison, a maximum of life, and a fine up to $8,000,000.

U.S. Attorney Trini E. Ross announced today that Jaden Z. Campbell, 19, of Rochester, NY, pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Frank P. Geraci, Jr. to carjacking and using or carrying a firearm during a crime of violence. The charges carry a mandatory minimum penalty of five years in prison, a maximum of life and a $250,000 fine.

U.S. Attorney Trini E. Ross announced today that a federal grand jury has returned an eight-count indictment charging Anita Miller, 40, of Jamestown, NY, with six counts of theft of mail by a postal employee and two counts of delay of mail by a postal employee. The charges carry a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
