Real average hourly earnings down 1.3 percent from February 2022 to February 2023 03/21/2023 Real average hourly earnings for all employees on private nonfarm payrolls—that is, earnings that have been adjusted for changes in consumer prices—decreased 1.3 percent from February 2022 to February 2023. The change in real average hourly earnings combined with a decrease of 0.6 percent in the average workweek resulted in a 1.9-percent decrease in real average weekly earnings over this period. HTML
