In performing this important public service, AUSAs will exercise responsibility that is unparalleled in any other job a litigator might undertake. AUSAs immediately are assigned cases, some high profile, in one of the units within the Criminal Division of our Phoenix, Arizona office. AUSAs are responsible for prosecuting a variety of violations of federal laws, such as immigration offenses, drugs, firearms, violent crime, white collar frauds, and other federal crimes. Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.
