A Chatham County man with a long, violent criminal history has been sentenced to federal prison after admitting to a kidnapping that left the victim robbed and badly injured.

PROVIDENCE – A 23-year-old man who set three fires inside a Woonsocket mill-type building after breaking into the structure in April 2019, was sentenced today to five years in federal prison, announced United States Attorney Zachary A. Cunha.

Tampa, Florida – United States Attorney Roger B. Handberg announces that Cheyenne McIntosh (26, Bradenton) has pleaded guilty to making a false statement on an ATF form. McIntosh faces a maximum penalty of 10 years in federal prison and has agreed to forfeit seven firearms. A sentencing date has not yet been set.
