Assistant Attorney General - Uninsured Employers' Fund Posting Date:    October 3, 2022   Closing Date:  October 18, 2022 Job Title:   Assistant Attorney General   Position Type:  Regular Full Time Location: Office of the Attorney General, Uninsured Employers' Fund 300 East Joppa Road, Towson, Maryland 21286 ​ Description: The Office of the Attorney General is seeking applicants for an Assistant Attorney General position at the Uninsured Employers' Fund. The successful candidate will provide legal advice and representation to the Uninsured Employers' Fund. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, representation of the Fund before the Workers' Compensation Commission and various circuit and appellate courts of Maryland and interpretation of law pertaining to the Uninsured Employers' Fund and its application to the claims of injured workers in Maryland. Representing the Uninsured Employers' Fund in license revocation proceedings, civil collection actions, and in statutory criminal prosecutions may also be required.
