It's Not Too Late to Register and Request an Absentee Ballot Absentee ballots will be on their way in less than a month, but it's not too late to register and request yours.  The deadline to register and request your ballot for November 8 using the Federal Post Card Application (FPCA) depends on your state of residency.  Here are a few ways to get prepared:  Determine your voting residence. Check your state's specific deadlines. Add election dates and reminders to your calendar. Get in touch with your Unit Voting Assistance Officer (UVAO) to discuss any voting questions face-to-face.
