Assistant Attorney General - Civil Division (REPOST)​​ Posting Date: August 23, 2022    Closing Date:  September 7, 2022       Job Title:   Assistant Attorney General    Position Type: Regular Full Time         Location:  Office of the Attorney General, Civil Division, 200 St. Paul Place, Baltimore, Maryland 21202 Description:  The Office of the Attorney General is seeking applicants for an Assistant Attorney General in the Civil Division.  The Civil Division represents Maryland state agencies and officials, in the state and federal trial and appellate courts, in the most important civil litigation that the State confronts. In addition to handling trial and appellate cases, the Division reviews and approves all civil complaints, notices of appeal, and appellate briefs filed on behalf of the State; approves settlements in civil cases; conducts moot courts in all civil appeals; and serves as a general resource and advisor on litigation matters to the divisions and units of the Office of the Attorney General.
