Aug 02, 2022 Kansas voters overwhelmingly back keeping abortion rights enshrined in the state Constitution Kansas voters on Tuesday decided that the state's Constitution should continue to enshrine protections for abortion rights, voting "no" on a ballot measure pushed by opponents of abortion rights. A "yes" vote would have amended the state Constitution to strip out language that protects the right to abortion in the state and put the issue in the hands of the state's Republican-controlled legislature.
