Death of woman denied an abortion in Ireland has worried doctors who say history may repeat in U.S.

After the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, some doctors are highlighting the 2012 death of Dr. Savita Halappanavar in Ireland, who was denied an abortion by doctors who cited the country's strict laws. Her death, which helped catalyze Ireland's pro-abortion rights movement, has prompted warnings that the same thing could happen on a large scale in the United States.
