View Online IMMEDIATE RELEASE U.S. Secretary of Defense to Host Ukraine Defense Contact Group Meeting June 15 in Brussels June 6, 2022 U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III is scheduled to host an in-person Ukraine Defense Contact Group meeting at the NATO Headquarters in Brussels, Belgium, June 15. Secretary Austin has again invited Ministers of Defense and Chiefs of Defense from around the world to discuss the ongoing crisis in Ukraine. Media Program (All times in Central European Time): 15:00 –Ukraine Defense Contact Group Meeting Opening remarks by Secretary Austin  18:45 – Press conference with Secretary Austin and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark A. Milley  Registration Media interested in attending the event should follow NATO instruction for media registration at the Meeting of Defense Ministers (June 15-16).
