DAVENPORT, Iowa – A Davenport man, Marius Lamar Avant, 27, was sentenced on Thursday, June 2, 2022, to 16 months in prison for Escape from Custody, to be served consecutively to his previously imposed 60-month sentence for Felon in Possession of a Firearm in the United States District Court for the Central District of Illinois.

Alexander M.M. Uballez, United States Attorney for the District of New Mexico, and Raul Bujanda, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI Albuquerque Field Office, announced today that Tony Jake, Jr., was charged in a criminal complaint with abusive sexual contact with a minor.

Earlier today, in federal court in Central Islip, Mara Ficarra pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit mail, wire and bank fraud. The proceeding was held before United States District Judge Joanna Seybert.
