The Supreme Court ruled Thursday that President Joe Biden acted properly in seeking to shut down the Trump administration's "Remain in Mexico" policy, which required people seeking asylum at the southern border to wait in Mexico while their claims were decided. In ordering an end to the program, Biden cited the dangerous conditions along the border and the difficulty immigrants faced in getting help from lawyers in the United States, as well as the complications the policy produced for America's dealings with Mexico.
