Mar 13, 2022 BREAKING: At least 35 people killed in Russian missile strike on military base near border with NATO member Poland, Ukraine says At least 35 people were killed and 134 people injured when a Russian airstrike hit a military base in western Ukraine about 20 miles from the Polish border, Ukrainian officials said Sunday. Around 30 missiles hit the International Center for Peacekeeping and Security in Yavoriv, said Maksym Kozytskiy, the head of the Lviv regional administration.
