View Online IMMEDIATE RELEASE Guantanamo Periodic Review Board Media Invitation Announced January 25, 2022 Jan. 21, 2022 The Department of Defense will allocate seats for news media at the Pentagon satellite viewing location on January 25, 2022, to cover unclassified portions of the Guantanamo Periodic Review Board for Hassan Muhammad Ali Bin Attash (ISN-1456). Due to COVID social distancing concerns there will be 4 chairs for reporters in the room, selection is not guaranteed. Media reporters must follow procedures in accordance with COVID-19-Transition to Health Protection Charlie on the Pentagon Reservation found here. Upon selection, additional information on meeting time and location will be provided. Media desiring to observe the hearing should send requests via email to osd.pentagon.pa.mbx.gtmo-press@mail.mil. All requests must be received no later than 5:30 p.m. EST, January 21, 2022. Media members should include their name, position, sponsoring organization and contact information (cell phone and email address) in their request. Multiple names from the same organization may be submitted. Further information, including media ground rules, can be viewed at the Periodic Review Secretariat website at https://www.prs.mil/.
