The latest U.S. Import and Export Price Indexes news release has been posted on the BLS website at https://www.bls.gov/news.release/pdf/ximpim.pdf and also archived at https://www.bls.gov/news.release/archives/ximpim_11162021.pdf. Highlights are below. Import prices rise 1.2% in October on higher fuel prices; export prices increase 1.5% 11/16/2021 Prices for U.S. imports advanced 1.2 percent in October, after rising 0.4 percent in September. Export prices increased 1.5 percent in October following a 0.4-percent advance the previous month. Over the past year, import prices rose 10.7 percent and export prices increased 18.0 percent.
