Proof You Can’t Rely On The Media

 

Hi Trader, Weeks ago, I wrote about how the legendary Peter Lynch would invest in today's market: Small caps. Lynch was a BIG fan.  He'd buy undiscovered, financially healthy small-cap companies before Wall Street discovered them. When the big guys finally found these stocks, they'd dump their capital in… Handing Lynch HUGE profits. It worked so well that he coined the term "ten-bagger" for stocks that 10x'd after he bought them. Funnily enough, a similar scenario's playing out right now: As usual, CNBC's late to the party. Not fashionably late, either.  They missed the entire thing! I've been loading up on IWM — an ETF tracking the small-cap-heavy Russell 2000 — for about a year before the mainstream picked up on it... Just like Lynch did with individual small caps during his career. In exchange, the small caps have been kind to my account. Now, I didn't guess. There's a strategy behind my research and analysis.
