Assistant Attorney General - Maryland Transit Administration Posting Date:  November 17, 2021  Closing Date:  December 2, 2021   Job Title:  Assistant Attorney General, Senior Counsel  Position Type: Regular Full Time Location:  Office of the Attorney General, Maryland Transit Administration 6 St. Paul Street, Baltimore, Maryland 21202  Description: The Office of the Attorney General is seeking applicants for an Assistant Attorney General, Senior Counsel to represent the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA). MTA is a multi-modal transit system, operating Local and Commuter Buses, Light Rail, Metro-Subway, Maryland Regional Commuter (MARC) Train Service and a paratransit system. It owns several freight right of ways and has agreements with several freight carriers operating over those right of ways. This position serves as lead attorney on complex commercial transactions and projects in which the MTA is involved.
