A call center helps millions of Americans access Obamacare. But its workers struggle to afford their own insurance.
Federal contractors at Maximus in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, who help people enroll in Affordable Care Act health insurance, can't afford their own expensive coverage. Anger over high-cost health insurance, coupled with other long-standing workplace issues, has helped fuel the ongoing drive to unionize call centers.
