William Shatner, 90, is going to space next week on Jeff Bezos' Blue Origin rocket
William Shatner, the 90-year-old actor who played Captain James T. Kirk in "Star Trek," will blast off from Texas on Oct. 12, making him the oldest person to travel to space, Blue Origin announced Monday. Unlike the Enterprise's five-year mission, Shatner's trip will carry him to space for just a few minutes.
