SPECIAL REPORT: They ordered the pill that killed them on Snapchat. Their families are demanding justice.
The opioid crisis has come to Snapchat, the most popular social media platform among U.S. teens. Manufactured by Mexican drug-trafficking organizations, the deadly pills are laced with fentanyl and look like legitimate prescription medicines. Snapchat says it's trying to clamp down on drug dealers but the parents of victims say the company needs to more. "It was as easy as ordering a pizza," said the father of one victim. "He delivered right to our house."
