Thank You MED Week Is On Demand

The 2021 National MED Week conference was a success!  Thank you for participating and thank you for sharing with your networks.  MED Week 2021 hosted more than 39 sessions and has more than 17,000 views and count! This year's conference closed with the second  Buy MBE Day hosted by our network of MBDA Business and Specialty Centers across the country.  Thank you again for being a part of the national observance celebrating minority business enterprises!

The U.S. Department of Commerce has  announced the renewal of the Trade Finance Advisory Council.

The US Dept. of Commerce has announced Miguel Estién to serve as MBDA's Acting National Director & National Deputy Director. "I am honored to be selected by the Biden-Harris Administration and Secretary Raimondo to help lead the Minority Business Development Agency."

MBDA Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month with the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce

The USHCC and Reimagine Main celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month with Miguel Estién, Acting Director, Minority Business Development Agency, U.S. Department of Commerce, and Ramiro A. Cavazos, President & CEO, United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce! The event was moderated and hosted by Public Private Strategies and falls under their Reimagine Main Street (RMS) initiative, focused on helping small business and their workers recover from effects of the pandemic.

Minority Business Development Agency Awards $13.9 Million in Grants

Federal funding expanded MBDA Business Centers to new locations in Alabama, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Mississippi, North Carolina, New Jersey, Ohio, Oklahoma and Virginia. In celebration of the new locations, there will be various Open House events. Stay connected to MBDA for event details.
