Sen. Kyrsten Sinema, D-Ariz., is carving out an iconoclastic political identity back home as she sits at the center of an intraparty clash over President Joe Biden's agenda in Washington. Supporters hope to paint a picture of a renegade politician who delivers results, even as many in her party have grown frustrated by her reluctance to commit to voting for a robust safety net package — or even publicly articulate a starting point for negotiation.
