Oct 29, 2021 BREAKING: GOP Rep. Adam Kinzinger, an outspoken Trump critic, retiring from Congress Rep. Adam Kinzinger of Illinois, one of the most prominent Republican critics of former President Donald Trump, will not seek re-election, he announced Friday. Kinzinger, who sits on the House committee investigating the Jan. 6 riot, was one of 10 House Republicans to vote to impeach Trump earlier this year.
