The latest State Employment and Unemployment (Monthly) news release has been posted on the BLS website at https://www.bls.gov/news.release/pdf/laus.pdf and also archived at https://www.bls.gov/news.release/archives/laus_09172021.pdf. Highlights are below. August jobless rates down in 15 states; payroll jobs up in 11 states, down in 3 09/17/2021 In August, unemployment rates were lower in 15 states and the District of Columbia and stable in 35 states.
