Assistant United States Attorney 08/16/2021 08:47 AM EDT USAO Northern District of Texas Civil Division Dallas, Texas Announcement #: 21-NDTX-AUSA-11205056 Application Deadline: August 27, 2021 The Assistant United States Attorney (AUSA) will serve in the Civil Division of the Dallas office, which is responsible for work on both affirmative and defensive civil matters. The successful applicant will lead affirmative civil fraud investigations and prosecutions to assert and protect the interests of the United States (e.g., enforcement of health care, procurement, environmental, public safety, fair housing and Government program fraud laws). The successful applicant also will be responsible for representing the United States in a wide variety of defensive matters brought against the federal government and its agencies, including employment discrimination, medical malpractice, general torts, constitutional torts, immigration, prisoner, and commercial litigation. Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.
