MACON, Ga. – A Perry, Georgia, resident and career offender was sentenced to federal prison for distributing methamphetamine after he was arrested in violation of his supervised release from a prior federal conviction. Tony Jermaine Neely, 38, of Perry, Georgia, was sentenced to serve 180 months in prison to be followed by five years of supervised release by U.S. District Judge Marc Treadwell on Wednesday, August 4, after previously pleading guilty to possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. There is no parole in the federal system.
