Jul 04, 2021 BREAKING: Remaining Florida condo demolished to expand search efforts as Tropical Storm Elsa approaches The remnants of a Miami-area condo tower that collapsed were demolished Sunday night after engineers declared it unstable, officials said. Bringing down the building was 'critical' to allowing first responders to continue safely searching for victims, said Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava.
