The latest U.S. Import and Export Price Indexes news release has been posted on the BLS website at https://www.bls.gov/news.release/pdf/ximpim.pdf and also archived at https://www.bls.gov/news.release/archives/ximpim_06162021.pdf. Highlights are below. Import prices increase 1.1% in May on higher nonfuel prices; export prices rise 2.2% 06/16/2021 Prices for U.S. imports increased 1.1 percent in May following a 0.8-percent advance in April. Export prices rose 2.2 percent in May, after increasing 1.1 percent the previous month. Over the past year, import prices advanced 11.3 percent and export prices rose 17.4 percent.
