Shunned from ISS, China sends astronauts to build its own space station in first crewed mission since 2016

 

The 'Divine Vessel' rocket blasted off from a launch pad in the Gobi Desert on Thursday, sending three Chinese astronauts on the first of 11 planned missions to build China's space station — the first time in five years that the country has sent humans into space.
