The Supreme Court on Thursday upheld the Affordable Care Act, better known as Obamacare, rejecting an attempt to strike it down by Republican-led states. The red states had argued that because the "individual mandate" tax penalty was eliminated, the revised law could not be saved as a tax and was therefore unconstitutional. In a 7-2 decision, the Court held that the plaintiffs do not have standing to challenge the individual mandate.
