Study shows one-third of leading Asian American Pacific Islander roles in top films go to ... 'The Rock'

New data reveals that only 3.4 percent of the top-grossing movies featured Asian American or Pacific Islander leads over a 13-year span. Just 44 films had an AAPI actor front and center — and in 14 of them, it was Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, who is of Samoan descent.
